How It All Works
- After purchasing the course, you will be invited to the course chat in Discord where both lesson streaming and all communication will be.

This course is mainly designed for web designers, web developers and QA testers who design, build and test user interfaces and experiences. that?
Absolutely! Both The European Accessibility Act and Section 508 in the US are based on WCAG standards. Our course is based on WCAG and teaches you how to understand and apply the WCAG principles, guidelines and success criteria in practice.

Do I need to do some preparation before the course?
You will need motivation, courage and an irrepressible desire to learn accessibility. The instructor will do the rest.

What are the course prerequisites?
Good HTML/CSS knowledge and basic JavaScript knowledge (mostly about working with DOM). No prior accessibility knowledge is required.

I live in a different time zone and can't join lessons at this time, what can I do?
Lessons will be recorded and available to all course participants for 3 months. You can try learning from recordings and ask questions in a course chat at any time. Read more about our recording policy.

Does this course cover iOS and Android accessibility?
This course is mostly focused on web accessibility, but there will be some generic information about standards, tooling etc. that can be applied to any platforms.

Will we have a homework assignment during the course?
Yes, you will. During the course we'll be working on a course project by finding and fixing accessibility issues. Every participant is more than welcome to create a pull request with his or her own solution. Pull requests will be checked and commented by instructor.
